Below are the Events for June 17-23, 2019 given to us from the Crystal Coast Tourism Authority:

January 1st (Wednesday)

New Year’s Day Brunch @ 34º North Restaurant| 7am – 2:30pm

According to Southern traditions, you’ll have good luck for the entire year if you have the traditional New Year’s Day dinner. Executive Chef Stephen Jordan and his culinary team have created a meal of greens, black-eyed peas, and cornbread. First Day Hike @ Fort Macon| 9am – 11am

Start the new year off right with a hike in your favorite state park. Fort Macon will be offering two ranger led hikes this year, both starting from the Visitor Center at 2pm. One will be a short nature hike on the Yarrow’s Loop Trail and inlet beach covering about 3/4 of a mile. The second hike will be along the 3.2 mile Elliot Coues Trail.For more details, 252-726-3775 or

Penguin Plunge | 1pm – 2pm

Ring in the New Year taking a dip in the Ocean and help raise money for local charity. Takes place at the circle in Atlantic Beach. For more details, 252-726-2121 or

January 3rd (Friday)

Food Truck Roundup Sip-n-Shop @ The Salty Bee| 5pm – 9pm

Calling all foodies!! We are bringing a handful of food trucks for an evening out! Kick off the new year with us. Come grab dinner, and a cold drink, and listen to live music. Our burn barrels will be lit to keep everyone toasty warm! For more details,

Tiffany Elaine & Now Or Never @ Royal James | 8pm – 11pm

Tiffany Elaine is a recording Artist based out of Nashville and the Carolina’s. Elaine shows off her vocal range with her Debut single “Couldn’t You See” which was produced by Stokes Nielson of the Billboard acclaimed “The Lost Trailers. “The Lost Trailers issued a self-titled effort, which produced the singles “Call Me Crazy” and “Why Me”, both of which entered the Billboard Hot Country Songs charts. Elaine has teamed up with local musicians and songwriters Steve Mehan and Fernando Rivera for a sound no one has heard before forming the band every one is talking about, Now Or Never. Elaine is an BMI songwriter and CMA member. Tiffany Elaine performs both acoustically and with her band in NC and Nashville. For more details, 252-728-4573.
