Kayak for the Warriors Reception | 6pm – 9pm
The annual Warrior Reception with its two auctions (Live and Silent) will be held at the NC Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores. This event, which especially honors our combat wounded, is also intended to recognize all of our veterans. This is a delightfully entertaining evening for everyone. The auction is $10 for preregistration and $15 at the door and gains you admittance to the aquarium and all its exhibits and are invited to enjoy some of the finest food our local restaurants provide. One serving of beer or wine is included, as is unlimited water or soda. Additional wine/beer can be purchased for $3 per serving. Additionally, there will be a Live Auction featuring the antics of “Auctioneers on Deck” in the Aquarium Auditorium. There will be another 25 or so large ticket items in the Live Auction. Cross Trail Outfitters Crystal Coast Youth Fishing Tournament | 4pm – 3pm
Join us for the 3rd Annual 2019 Star Rods Carolina Redfish Elite Youth Fishing Tournament. The Youth Tournament is held Friday May 31st and Saturday June 1st. The Youth Anglers can pickup their tournament wrist bands at Big Rock Landing Friday May 31st from 4:00pm – 6:00pm or Saturday June 1st from 5:00am – 7:00am. Come enjoy snow cones compliments of Coastal Carolina Orthodontics Friday May 31st at 4:00pm to watch the Carolina Redfish Elite day 1 weigh-in. The Youth Angler can start fishing once they have their wrist band. All fishing must be done from shore, dock or pier with no fishing taking place from a boat, kayak or any vessel. Fish must be caught using hook and line, no gigging, netting or trapping of fish. The youth angler must reel the fish in with limited help from an adult. Friends and families are encouraged to join us for the Youth Tournament weigh-in on Saturday June 1st at 1:00pm at Big Rock Landing Downtown Morehead City and stay for the Carolina Redfish Elite weigh-in at 3:00pm. 9th Annual Crystal Coast Run/Walk for Autism | 7am – 10am
In North Carolina, 1 in 59 children will be diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. You can make a difference in the lives of children with autism and their families by registering for the Crystal Coast Run/Walk for Autism. Registration is $25 for the competitive 5K or $25 for the walk, but you can make an even bigger impact by recruiting family members, friends, and co- workers to form a team and raise donations – now is the time to start! 3rd Annual Tri for Fun Kids Triathlon | 8:30am – 11am
Tri for Fun is open to kids ages 5-15, and the second year of offering a Special needs division, this event is not to be missed. The event is fun, empowering and supports a great cause. Kayak for the Warriors Kayak/Paddleboard Race | 10am – 1pm
A 3.2-mile kayak and paddle board race through the Pine Knoll Shores canals. A $50 registration fee for a single kayak/paddle board and $100 for a tandem kayak includes a Warrior T-shirt and lunch for each paddler. The WARRIORS RACE will be based on the registrant who brings in the most donations in his or her name. We are asking each participant to create their own team of sponsors. Each racer is encouraged to raise at least $100 in additional donations from their sponsors. Sponsor dollars must be submitted 24 hours before the race including the electronic cut off if submitting online. There will be award categories for kayakers, tandem and paddle boarders. A Colonial Tea: Life, Liberty & the Pursuit of Fashion | 11am – 12:30pm
The Infusion Cafe is pleased to announce its 3rd Colonial Tea. Each journey into our American tea-time past has been a wonderfully memorable tea experience, and this historic adventure is no exception.
